The Devastation of Speed
On July 1, 2022, three teens were killed in Dubuque, IA when their car crashed at 104mph.
According to NHTSA, in 2020, there were 11,258 people killed in speeding-related traffic crashes, and speeding was a contributing factor in 29% of all fatal crashes nationally.
In Iowa, excessive speed is a leading cause of traffic fatalities.
