Attendance: Chet Bachman, Roberta Hass, Denise Mueller, Jen Wilwert, Ardie Kuhse,
Bert Hass, Ryan Martindale, Abbey Cottrell, Tim Dugger, Brett Jackson

Review required topics:
A. Major Educational Needs: Academic Excellence, Human Resources, Mental
Health Supports
B. Student Learning Goals: Graduation Rates, Literacy Scores, and College and
Career Readiness
C. Long Range and Annual Improvement Goals
a. Increase the number of Work Based Learning Experiences of High
School Students- desired level is 25.47% and our current percentage
is 9.62%
b. Increase the percent proficient for ELA and Math using ISASP in the
McGregor Center- desired level is 90% for ELA and 85% for Math

c. The Elementary school Overall Performance Score will increase-
desired level is 487 and our current score is 434.7 which is considered commendable

D. Harassment or bullying prevention goals, programs, training, and other
initiatives
a. Positive school climate
b. Educate and Empower
c. Effective Discipline

Artificial Intelligence: There are district policies in place and we’re beginning to navigate
using this technology. The district will be purchasing a license to Magic School AI for
next school year. There will be some training from the company in the fall. The state of
Iowa is also offering a reading tutor AI that our district could use.

Facilities Committee Update: The new bus garage will be built this calendar year, the
gym will be painted this summer, and future planning will take place. The MORE
student project was discussed with no formal action.
