Special Meeting

October 31, 2022

 

A Board Workshop was held at 7:00 p.m. on October 31, 2022, in the Learning Commons of the Monona Schoolhouse.

 

President Gina Roys called the meeting to order at 7:01 pm.  Members present at roll call were Gina Roys, Roberta Hass, Tonya Meyer, Josh Grau, Aaron Schroeder and Collin Stubbs.  Dr. Jon Moser was absent.  Also present were Dr. Dale Crozier; Superintendent, and Karla Hanson; Board Secretary.

 

Motion by Aaron Schroeder, seconded by Tonya Meyer, to approve the agenda as stated.

 

Trent Grundmeyer and Shanlee McNally from Grundmeyer Leader Services were present to give a proposal on how their company could facilitate the hiring process for Dr. Crozier’s replacement.   The presentation included a timeline showing the development of a plan that best suits the district’s needs, explained how the recruitment and screening processes would work, and gave a detailed explanation about the final interviewing and hiring of a new superintendent.

 

There was a motion by Roberta Hass, seconded by Josh Grau, to hire Grundmeyer Leader Services at an estimated cost of no more than $10,568.88.  Motion carried unanimously and Mr. Grundmeyer was asked to proceed with the plans as stated in the meeting.

 

The Special Meeting adjourned at 8:52 p.m.
