Resignations:     Denise Mueller, Middle School Principal

Motion carried unanimously.

A brief discussion was held regarding summer projects.  These included, but are not limited to, the following: bus barn project, middle school lockers, painting the gym, tuckpoint the Monona building, and continued improvements to blinds and walls within the buildings.  Funding will continue to be monitored as the district borrowed from itself for the 2024 summer projects and that will need to be repaid by October 2025.

The board discussed whether to seek presentations from multiple architect firms for the bus barn project.  This would potentially slow down the process as each firm would need to have the opportunity to pitch their businesses.  Motion by Roberta Hass, seconded by Josh Grau, to continue working with Martin Gardner for projects requiring an architect.  Aye votes from Grau, Roys, Meyer, Schlake, Moser, and Hass.  Nay vote from Schroeder.  Motion carried unanimously.

Motion by Josh Grau, seconded by Roberta Hass, to accept the updated job description for the Director of Nutrition and Wellness position.  Job will be posted this week.  Motion carried unanimously.

Motion by Tonya Meyer, seconded by Aaron Schroeder, to accept the updated job description for School Nurse.  The School Nurse will take over DOT drug/alcohol testing, be responsible for Medicaid processing, have increased classroom time and monitor both buildings.  District nurse must be an RN or BSN.  Motion carried unanimously.

Motion by Roberta Hass, seconded by Tonya Meyer, to approve the two public hearings necessary for the Fiscal Year 2026 budget as follows: First hearing on March 27, 2025, at 6:00 p.m.; second hearing on April 14, 2025 at 6:00 p.m.  Motion carried unanimously.
